When multiple students share the same rank and exceed the quota, selection will be determined in the following order:
1. The number of required and elective credits taken within the department in the current semester;
2. The average GPA of required courses within the department in the current semester;
3. The total number of credits earned in the current semester;
4. Whether the student has obtained an interdisciplinary program status (in the order of double major → university-wide bachelor’s program → minor → interdisciplinary credit program);
5. And the number of EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) credits taken in the current semester.
